Gianluca Mech SpA chooses Franchise Development for the feasibility study of the franchising project

Tisanoreica is a brand of Gianluca Mech SpA that operates entirely in the world of health and wellness with extensive product lines dedicated to personal care specializing in phytotherapy practices.

Gianluca Mech inherited the centuries-old herbal tradition of his family and from which he has created Gianluca Mech SpA, a company with a turnover of over 30 million euros, which has seen steady growth to be considered a virtuous example of entrepreneurship entirely “made in Italy.”

Today, Gianluca Mech has dozens of licensees of the Tisanoreica brand in Italy, but Gianluca Mech has decided to take a step forward and choose the franchise formula to evaluate opening single-brand outlets completely dedicated to Tisanoreica products and the set of patented methods of the company.

In order to undertake this ambitious project, Gianluca Mech turned to Franchise Development to prepare the feasibility study and strategic development proposals, in order to clarify the objectives, KPIs, and necessary timelines. This is a very important and delicate step that must be taken if one wants to enter the market directly with a retail project that has its own widespread presence.

The case of Gianluca Mech, an “industrial” reality that approaches retail through the creation of outlets under its own brand, both direct and franchised, is not an isolated one.

An example is the Excelsa brand, owned by Bergamashi & Vimercati SpA, a leading company in the household goods and gift articles sector that has opened outlets under its own brand (in addition to its licensees).

Another “historical” case is the French brand Yves Rocher which, from direct production and sales in the 1950s, has seen entire chains of single-brand stores, both direct and franchised, grow worldwide.

Despite the drastic change in lifestyles and habits that have undergone considerable upheaval, having the signs of one’s own brand on the streets of cities remains one of the best forms of distribution.
