STRATEGIES FOR DEVELOPING FRANCHISE NETWORKS AND SEEKING MEMBERS

Recruiting affiliates is one of the first challenges a franchisor faces. How do you attract potential affiliates?

There are four essential elements:

  1. affiliation contracts in line with regulations and integrated with the Operations Manual;
  2. complete and clear presentation material (video/brochure/lending page);
  3. economic and financial models already tested;
  4. complete track record of openings and closures.

Only if you possess these four elements, can undertake a multi-channel affiliate search plan to expand in your country and abroad.
The digital marketing department must be perfectly connected to the sales managers, who will then manage and close the negotiations. To carry out all these activities the franchisor has two ways:

  • create an internal team with the necessary skills;
  • delegating part of the activities to external agencies.

In both cases it is necessary:

  1. activate and monitor the social and SEM campaign with adequate content and budget.
  2. attend the major market place franchises;
  3. activate a network of relationships in which to identify possible franchisees;
  4. have a skilled salesperson ready and able to manage and convert all affiliate requests generated by campaigns.
